It is not uncommon for many people to have their mortgage loan applications declined by a bank. The majority of banks these days use computer scoring models and credit checking to make the “yes or no” decision for them.

In many cases, when the computer says “NO” the bank staff member may not even be able to tell you why. This is when you need the expertise and experience of someone who has worked for and with banks, non-banks, mortgage managers and brokers on your side (that’s us!).

We can usually tell you why the bank did not approve your loan (even if they don’t know) and what options you may still have with other banks or lenders.

If you have at least 20% equity in a residential property, there is always a chance of getting help if your circumstances are fully understood. We work on your behalf and will present your case to a lender with any required explanations and supporting paperwork.

Options for credit impairment or bankruptcy

People who have experienced a “life event” (such as divorce, health problems, unemployment, business failure, or family illnesses, or any number of life’s unexpected circumstances) that has left them with some form of credit impairment can often be greatly assisted with a debt consolidation loan.

Even late or a slow repayment history can be a problem for many people seeking to refinance.

By combining your credit cards, personal loans, motor vehicle, business loans and home loan into one much lower repayment, your finances could be often greatly improved, without the need to sell your home.

Sympathetic help is available

We have extensive experience in assisting clients and take the time to fully understand your personal situation. The various specialist lenders we deal with have widely varying policies and it is our job to help you with the most appropriate lender for your own unique situation. It is definitely not a “one lender fits all” category.

For minor credit issues, we have even been able to obtain finance from a different bank to the clients’ own bank who had refused to help or who’s computer said “NO”.
